Are you struggling with weight loss? Could it be your thyroid? First, I’m a big fan of prevention. Let’s start there.
- Watch how much soy you eat. I’m definitely not a fan of soy protein powder or excessive soy-based foods. Don’t feed infants soy-based milk either.
- Stop smoking. It damages your thyroids.
- Reduce stress. Stress is a major culprit in causing auto-immune dysfunction.
- Eat a healthy diet and exercise. This helps the body fight the toxins that lead to diseases. Call me and learn easy ways to make lifestyle changes.
If you already have thyroid disease, there are some super healthy vegetables you should actually reduce. These are great if you don’t have thyroid issues. That said, too much of a good thing can be toxic. I see people juicing raw kale daily and it can disrupt proper thyroid function.
